JK enjoyed the opportunity to vote in the USM Election this week. With our Voter ID around our neck, we cast our ballot for either "cereal" or "waffles" for the newest item on the Lunch Menu. And the winner was...waffles!
Our family unit kicked off with a wonderful discussion about the meaning of family. Please read our sincere answers on the bulletin board outside our room. We loved making our family pillows to include each family member and stuffed them full of l-o-v-e! Most fun of all was sharing our baby clothes and holding them up to see how much we have grown. The ooohs and aaahs were precious. We will continue our family focus next week as we prepare for the annual JK Pizza Party on Thursday!

P.S. Yes, we already had the sentence, "I like spiders!", but I was hoping that after we studied spiders, there would be more children who said "yes" to liking them - but that didn't happen. So much for the experiment!
