Transportation in the JK City
This week we extended our discussion of how things move to include vehicles! We listed different kinds of vehicles and sorted them by how they move and whether they are used on land, water, or in the air. We each got a flat box (it's amazing what Mrs. Jeffers finds in the recycling!), and painted our part of a city - complete with roads, intersections, tracks, water, bridges, and more! We made our own road vehicle on Friday, and we will make several more 3-D vehicles to use for play in our JK City! Don't forget to look for pictures of different kinds of vehicles to cut out and add to our joint JK Transportation Board - how full will it be by Friday?
Conferences
Thank you to all the families who met with me this week. It was a great opportunity to share your child's progress and look ahead to the remainder of the JK year. I appreciate the time to collaborate with all of you! Enjoy the long weekend,
Mrs. Jeffers
