Our last days in JK are bittersweet as we finish up our last studies and look back over a wonderful year together! We finished up our zoo unit, and I am sure you will have zoo experts telling you lots of facts when they sport their zookeeper vest and use their cage key and notebook when artbags arrive home this week - lots of treasure from the year inside! The children made a final self portrait for their beautiful journal and had fun looking through the pages from start to finish. They all noticed the progress they have made in their writing, coloring, and capturing important ideas. I hope you will find this snapshot of your child's year a special keepsake. We also took time to recognize the important people who have come along for our JK journey, so we made special "Morning Message" signs for our Special Teachers complete with all the things we have enjoyed in all of their classes. They were very appreciative of the touching words and ideas. Next week we will wrap-up our year together and take home many special treasures, so please keep sending those schoolbags each morning and empty each evening, thanks!
